INFORMATION FOR THE COMPETITION

pursuant to articles 13 and 14 of the European Regulation 2016/679
on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC
Dear Sir, Dear Madam,
in compliance with the provisions of the European Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter also “GDPR”), Carel Industries S.p.A. and E-Business Consulting as independent Data Controllers” (hereinafter “the Data Controllers”) inform you that they carry out data processing activities concerning you (hereinafter “Interested Party”) for the purposes referred to in paragraph 1 below.
1. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
By joining the “50 for winning. Carel’s history makes you win” (hereinafter also “the Competition”), better described in the respective regulations (available on the website www.carelcontest.com), the following personal data will be collected and processed:
• name, surname, email, home address, telephone number.
The personal data as indicated above will be processed by the Data Controllers as indicated below:
i. for the fulfillment of a contractual obligation – to fulfill the obligations deriving from your participation in the Competition
ii. in fulfillment of legal obligations – for the fulfillment of obligations deriving from the law or national and/or community regulations in force, including in the tax field, as well as from provisions issued by competent authorities and bodies;
iii. for the defense of a right or interest in court before any competent authority or body.
2. Nature of the provision of data
The provision of personal data for the purposes described above is purely optional. However, failure, partial or incorrect provision of the same, as necessary for the completion of the prize competition, may result in exclusion from the Competition and therefore the impossibility of using the services provided and, in general, of carrying out and evading your specific requests and/or to fulfill the obligations as provided for by the contract (meaning also the Competition regulations) or by the applicable law or as deriving from an interest of the Company.
3. Data communication
Your data may be communicated to the following categories of subjects (“recipients”):
– to all those subjects (including Public Authorities) who have access to personal data pursuant to regulatory or administrative provisions;
– to all those entities, public and/or private, natural and/or legal persons to whom the communication is necessary or functional for the correct fulfillment of a contractual or legal obligation.
Furthermore, subjects who operate on behalf of the Data Controllers may become aware of the data, such as, by way of example but not limited to, chamber of commerce officials, notaries, couriers/shippers, who will process them as external data controllers.
4. Duration of data processing and storage of personal data
The personal data concerning you will be processed and stored for the entire duration of the Competition and, subsequently, for the maximum time established by the applicable legal provisions regarding limitation of rights and/or forfeiture of the action (also in the administrative-fiscal field ) and, in general, for the exercise/defense of rights.
5. Data Controllers
The data controllers are Carel Industries S.p.A., with headquarters in Brugine (Padua), via dell’Industria 11 and E-Business Consulting, with headquarters in Corso del Popolo, 8 35131 (Padua).
In particular, we inform you that E-Business Consulting is the company that, as organizer and manager of the competition, will collect your personal data.
Subsequently, E-Business Consulting will send Carel Industries Spa exclusively the personal data of the winners of the Competition in order to manage the sending and collection of the prizes.
6. Rights of the interested party
You have the right to exercise, in the cases expressly provided for by law (art. 15 et seq., Regulations), the following rights:
a) ask the Data Controller to access the personal data concerning you, and/or their possible rectification or cancellation;
b) ask the Data Controller to limit the processing of personal data concerning you, or oppose the processing;
c) lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the Guarantor for the protection of personal data).
You may, at any time, exercise the rights referred to in the articles. 15-22 of the European Regulation 2016/679, as well as knowing the list of data controllers by sending an email to privacy@carel.com or info@e-businessconsulting.it or a letter to be sent by ordinary mail to the Data Controllers processing of personal data.
